How do I start flashing Flashlogic products?

  1. Register a Weblink account.
  2. Connect your module to your PC using the Weblink Updater cable.
  3. Click on ‘Flash your module’ on the top right corner of the web page and log in.
  4. Select an option from the flashing menu and follow the on-screen steps.

Why is a Weblink registration and login now required to flash Flashlogic modules?

Login was primarily implemented to enable our support staff to better identify our customers and leverage Flashlogic’s black box technology for troubleshooting purposes. This secures the data transfer during the KLON firmware programming process. Finally, it gives customers access to historical data, enabling them to better track their Flashlogic-related expenses and forecast purchasing needs.

Who is eligible to register for a Weblink Account?

Weblink access is exclusively available to mobile electronics professionals with a legitimate and verifiable business address. All Weblink registrations are subject to validation. Your account may be suspended at any time if your business status changes or if inaccurate information is provided.

My Flashlogic product will not work. What should I do?

  1. Read the install guide carefully.
  2. Contact technical support at 800.225.6074. Be sure to have the following information on hand:
    • Vehicle make, model, trim and year
    • Module serial number
    • Starter make and model
    • Module install guide
  3. In the rare event that the issue is not solved by a support agent, contact your distributor to verify if the module is still under warranty.
  4. If the module is still under warranty, return it to your distributor with all box contents for exchange.

What is the Flashlogic Warranty coverage?

AUDIOVOX Electronics Corporation (the Company) warrants to the original purchaser of this product that should this product or any part thereof, under normal use and conditions, be proven defective in material or workmanship within 12 months from the date of original purchase, such defect(s) will be repaired or replaced with new or reconditioned product, (at the Company's option) without charge for parts or repair labor.

To obtain repair or replacement within the terms of this Warranty, the product is to be delivered with proof of warranty coverage (e.g. dated bill of sale), authorization number, specification of defect(s), transportation prepaid, to an approved warranty station. This warranty is not transferable.

This Warranty does not cover damage to the vehicle's electrical system or costs incurred for the installation, removal or reinstallation of the product. This Warranty does not cover batteries nor apply to any product or part thereof which, in the opinion of the Company, has suffered or been damaged through alteration, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or by removal or defacement of the factory serial number/bar code label(s).

This Warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties or liabilities. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. ANY ACTION FOR BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY HEREUNDER INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN A PERIOD OF 24 MONTHS FROM DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE. IN NO CASE SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY. No person or representative is authorized to assume for the Company any liability other than expressed herein in connection with the sale of this product.

The company does not warrant that this product cannot be compromised or circumvented. THE EXTENT OF THE COMPANY'S LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT PROVIDED ABOVE AND, IN NO EVENT, SHALL THE COMPANY'S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY PURCHASER FOR THE PRODUCT WITHOUT INSTALLATION LABOR.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

How do I know which product is best suited for a particular vehicle?

Flashlogic products vary mainly in vehicle application coverage and price. To find the product that best suits your needs for a particular vehicle, select a vehicle make model year and trim from the homepage, then use the side-by-side product comparison tools on the search result page.

I installed my Weblink plugin but it still won’t work. What can I do?

  1. Make sure you meet the system requirements as listed on the Weblink plugin page.
  2. Reboot your PC after installation and try flashing again.
  3. If you have tried steps 1 and 2 and are still having trouble, please contact our Technical Support department at 800.225.6074.
